Summary
The Stations Quality Assurance (QA) Auditor is responsible for performing operational and regulatory compliance audits of all Allegiant bases and stations ensuring the quality and consistency of implementation and adherence to regulatory and Company requirements. This position will serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Stations and Safety/Security leadership, as it relates to auditing and compliance to Stations and Safety/Security policies.

Combination of Education and Experience will be considered. Must be authorized to work in the US as defined by the Immigration Act of 1986. Must pass a Criminal Background Check.
Education: High School Diploma/GED
Valid/Unexpired Passport
Valid/Unexpired Driver's License
Years of Experience:
•Minimum three (3) years of customer Service / Ground Operations Agent experience.
•Minimum one (1) year of auditing experience.
•Ability to facilitate individual and group discussions comfortably and effectively.
•Possess excellent problem-solving and structured thinking skills.
•Ability to develop materials and provide creative solutions for operational and leadership improvement.
•Ability to proficiently operate MS Word, AIS applications, MS Excel, Power Point.
•Possess experience in technical writing or ‘Simplified English’.
•Ability to remain current in Allegiant Air Station’s policies and procedures.
•Ability to work independently under general supervision with well-developed planning and organizational skills.
•Ability and willingness to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays, occasionally on short notice.
•Ability to attend and successfully pass required training.
•Heavy travel (90%).
•Ability to work in a variety of environments including, but not limited to, office, airport, indoor and outdoor. Subject to extreme outdoor conditions where extreme temperature ranges may be encountered.
•Ability to read, write, and speak English in order to receive and understand instructions, directives, and ensure safety, as well as the ability to interact with customers, is a requirement of the job.
•Familiarity with SMS requirements, with emphasis on Safety Assurance.
Preferred Requirements
•College degree.
•Airline industry auditing experience.
Job Duties
•Plan and develop audit travel and pre-audit preparation in accordance with the FAA accepted Safety Manual (SAFE).
•Prepare audit scopes and activities as necessary, including, but not limited to, safety, administrative, above and below wing aircraft handling, aircraft loading, security, deicing, environmental health and safety and into plane fueling activities.
•Perform scheduled and special audits, including identifying and defining issues, reviewing and analyzing evidence, and documenting findings and concerns.
•Ensure functional audit areas are satisfactorily observed and identified issues are documented throughout the audit process.
•Ensure ongoing communication with applicable local leadership while performing audit activities.
•Prepare and deliver verbal outbriefs of all audit non-conformities to applicable local leadership.
•Document and submit formal reports of all audit non-conformities to applicable local and corporate management level personnel in a timely manner.
•Ensure completion of all applicable audit corrective action plan responses within the approved electronic SMS recordkeeping system.
•Ensure ineffective or overdue corrective action plan responses are promptly escalated and addressed, as required.
•Maintain and update internal audit files.
•Assist the Manager of Station Quality Assurance with the development of supplemental audit and/or training material, as needed.
•Provide on-the-job training oversight of trainee auditors as needed.
•Perform safety assurance validations of corrective action responses to various regulatory programs.
•Perform ad-hoc station observations or inspections at the request of applicable leadership.
•Interface with FAA CMO (Certificate Management Office) Aviation Safety Inspectors, as needed.
•Maintain open communication and provide ongoing feedback to the Manager of Stations Quality Assurance.
•Positively represent the Allegiant brand through continual professional demeanor and appearance.
•Other duties as assigned.

Office - While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, see, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, key board, printer, and phone. May be required to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 20 lbs. May be required to work various shifts/days in a 24-hour situation. Regular attendance is a requirement of the role. Exposure to moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phones, printers, and foot traffic), temperature and light fluctuations. Ability to work in a confined area as well as the ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time. Some travel may be a requirement of the role.
