Summary The Director of Fleet Transactions is responsible for performing various duties in support of the Corporate Finance Department’s activities including negotiation of aircraft-related acquisition, sale, lease and disposition activities, fleet and market analysis, contract negotiation and management, and capital raising activities. Visa Sponsorship Available No Minimum Requirements Combination of Education and Experience will be considered. Must be authorized to work in the US as defined by the Immigration Act of 1986. Must pass a Criminal Background Check. Education:  Bachelor’s Degree Education Details: In Business, Finance, or related field. Years of Experience:  Minimum five (5) years of experience in a finance, transactions, or planning environment in the Airline Industry. •Excellent oral and written communication skills required to effectively communicate with transaction counterparties and manage large, multi-party, internal and external projects. •Strong attention to detail required in all aspects of the position. •Embrace hard work and be comfortable with a fast paced, quickly changing work environment. •Strong intellect and analytical aptitude required, along with ability to manage multiple and varied activities. •Strong negotiation skills essential to appropriately advance the company’s agenda in acquisitions and dispositions as well as to successfully resolve commercial and technical disputes. Preferred Requirements •Advanced degree in Business, Finance or related field. •Experience in the Airline Industry. Job Duties •Perform valuations, lease vs. buy, aircraft market studies, and other aircraft related analysis. •Lead the negotiation and documentation of aircraft and engine acquisitions and leases. •Lead and oversee the disposition of aircraft and aircraft-related assets. •Involvement with broader fleet plan covering aircraft retirement schedules and new fleet needs. •Lead and manage the Airline’s contractual relationship with the Aircraft Manufacturer. •Perform study of existing or supplemental aircraft types and/or incremental aircraft orders. •Assist and support with the induction and delivery of aircraft in various global locations. •Heavy cross departmental interaction with respect to fleet spending, including planning, maintenance, accounting, tax, FP&A, Procurement, and network departments. •Perform purchase and lease contract management activities (reimbursements, owner/seller notifications, coordination of financial details with accounting, etc.). •Manage lease activities of Allegiant’s asset management subsidiary. •Support aircraft financing and other capital raise initiatives. •Negotiate and resolve contractual and/or technical issues, as required. •Handle U.S., Mexican (and other international) aircraft registration issues. •Other duties as assigned. May be required to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 20 lbs. May be required to work various shifts/days in a 24-hour situation. Regular attendance is a requirement of the role. Exposure to moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phones, printers, and foot traffic), temperature and light fluctuations. Ability to work in a confined area as well as the ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time. Some travel may be a requirement of the role.
