Summary The Crew Resources Training & QA Supervisor is responsible for leading and coaching the team, hiring, and evaluating staff, and overseeing the quality assurance program. They are also responsible for being the subject matter expert in various Crew Services tasks, training new staff, and ensuring compliance with training guidelines. The Supervisor is also responsible for implementing company policies and conducting audits on Crew Services reports and transactions. Additionally, the Supervisor updates the department pages and manuals to comply with contractual and regulatory changes while providing comprehensive reports to the leadership team. Must pass a Criminal Background Check. Education:  Associate's Degree Education Details:  Or equivalent work experience Years of Experience:   •Minimum three (3) years of aviation experience. •Minimum one (1) year of Crew Scheduling experience. •Minimum two (2) years in a supervisory and/or training capacity. •Ability to be innovative, driven, and must work well under pressure to meet deadlines. •Must demonstrate multi-tasking skills and ability to manage shifting priorities and workload requirements while adapting to constant change with minimal supervision. •Ability and willingness to work a flexible schedule and hours including holidays, weekends, and shift work. •Present a professional demeanor at all times. •Ability to function and take on a leadership role in a high-stress environment. •Ability to work independently, problem solve, and think outside the box. •Possess strong leadership skills to guide, train, supervise, and develop team members. •Ability to hire, discipline, and offer termination recommendations. •Intermediate computer competency in MS Office Suite, including Excel, Access, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams. •Experience with tracking and trending data. •Complete understanding of the applicable FAR’s (117 & 121). •The ability to read, write, and speak English to receive and understand instructions, directives, and ensure safety, as well as the ability to interact with customers. •Excellent ability to focus on details with demonstrated accuracy and analytical skills. •Excellent oral and written communication skills, organization skills, interpersonal skills, and the ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality. •Ability and willingness to travel if required. Preferred Requirements •Experience with Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBAs). •Experience as a designated trainer for Operational Airline roles or departments. •Experience with analyzing, forecasting, and manipulating data. •Experience with Data Reporting Software. Job Duties •Leads, mentors, and coaches Crew Resources Training & QA Specialists, fostering their professional development and maximizing their potential. •Drives the team to meet and exceed established deadlines while ensuring quality standards are met. •Champions the Crew Services Quality Assurance program, improving internal/external audits, training, and process enhancement to elevate performance standards. •Recognized expert (SME) in Crew Scheduling, Crew Planning, Line Training, and Crew Travel, contributing to the success of the department and the company. •Backup trainer for the Crew Services training program, ensuring the team is well-equipped to perform their duties. •Plans and facilitates all phases of Crew Services training, developing innovative training methods, and materials to maximize effectiveness. •Supervises logistics for training such as training room availability, computer availability, and training schedules to ensure a seamless experience. •Develops training documentation and ensures compliance with the R&I training guidelines. •Implements Crew Scheduling and company policies. •Performs thorough audits of Pilot and Flight Attendant requirements as outlined in FARs, DoD, and other relevant regulations. •Leads investigations on all Crew Scheduling processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes. •Updates and supervises the Crew Services department G4connect pages to ensure easy access to relevant information for the team. •Ensures system and security integrity is maintained by managing system access for all departments. •Prepares comprehensive reports of data analysis, trends, and recommendations for the company leadership team. •Works with OCC Automation and Project Management team on enhancements/bug reports for CBI (Crew Bid Interface), Crew Travel booking tool, FMM, and Crew Management System (Merlot). •Participates in ASAP and Fatigue Review Committee as well as reviewing Crew Member safety reports. •Supervises all department trainers, student schedules, and host training milestone reviews. •Ensures any direct reports understand and apply our Customer Commitment and customer service standards to their daily responsibilities as appropriate. •Models Allegiant’s customer service standards in personal actions and when providing leadership direction. •Other duties as assigned. Office - While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, see, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, keyboard, printer, and phone. May be required to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 20 lbs. May be required to work various shifts/days in a 24-hour situation. Regular attendance is a requirement of the role. Exposure to moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phones, printers, and foot traffic), temperature and light fluctuations. Ability to work in a confined area as well as the ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time. Some travel may be a requirement of the role.
