Summary: As an Intern, Military & Intern Programs, you will learn and assist with the administration of Recruitment in accordance with Allegiant’s hiring guidelines and policies. This position will support the Recruiting function in various, customer-serving aspects of employment from coordinating/scheduling all phases of interviews, schedules & travel. This role will interact with Recruiters, Hiring Managers, People Services, and applicants both internal and external.  Minimum Requirements: Combination of Education and Experience will be considered. Must be authorized to work in the US as defined by the Immigration Act of 1986. Must pass a Criminal Background Check. Education: Bachelor’s Degree Education Details: To be qualified to apply, intern candidates should be currently enrolled in a College or University, or a recent graduate within the last six months with a GPA of 3.0 or higher. Years of Experience: N/A Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (emphasis in Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Knowledge of all general office equipment, e.g. computer, fax, printer, copier, scanner, multi-line phone system, and calculator Sound multi-tasking and self-organization capabilities within tight timelines. Strong attention to detail while being results and solution driven. History of working independently with little direction. Must demonstrate an ability to build and maintain productive working relationships. Must demonstrate a sense of urgency and follow-up. Must demonstrate a positive and polished Customer Service demeanor to all internal and external Customers. Preferred Requirements: Working knowledge of UKG HRIS and Lever. Understanding of general HR practices and processes. 6 month Internship preferred. Job Duties: Demonstrates understanding and support of People Services Culture by embodying it in most interactions, even in tough times. Schedules candidate interviews and associated travel arrangements. Assists in Lever including, but not limited to, opening requisitions, real-time candidate dispositioning, and sending out offer packets. Interacts with Supervisor, Employment Services & Supervisor, Badging & Compliance to arrange for applicant fingerprinting, reference checking, and new hire badging processes. Assists with the administration of Allegiant's College and Military Programs. Performs special projects as assigned by People Services management. Other duties as assigned. Office - While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, see, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, key board, printer, and phone. May be required to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 20 lbs. May be required to work various shifts/days in a 24-hour situation. Regular attendance is a requirement of the role. Exposure to moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phones, printers, and foot traffic), temperature and light fluctuations. Ability to work in a confined area as well as the ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time. Some travel may be a requirement of the role.
