Summary The Facilities Maintenance Coordinator assists the Facilities Engineer under the direction of the Facility Chief Engineer. The Coordinator must be skilled at managing their own time and prioritizing workloads. They are responsible for performing routine tasks and duties with the department in one or more fields (e.g. carpentry, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and general administrative), and perform tasks as assigned. The Facilities Maintenance Coordinator provides continuous support for the Maintenance and Facility group projects, and building operations. Visa Sponsorship Available No Minimum Requirements Combination of Education and Experience will be considered. Must be authorized to work in the US as defined by the Immigration Act of 1986. Must pass a Criminal Background Check. Years of Experience: Minimum two (2) years work experience on commercial buildings repairing and installing equipment coupled with general maintenance issues and commercial building operations. •Basic knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical, carpentry, and plumbing. •Skilled at plumbing maintenance, light carpentry, and light electrical and technical work. •Expertise in reading and understanding mechanical prints, drawings, electrical diagrams and working from such prints, drawings, and diagrams. •Capability to multitask and adapt quickly to change. •Ability to follow written instructions and complete documentation associated with preventative and predictive maintenance. •Familiarity with a variety of maintenance fields’ concepts, practices, and procedures. •Exhibit strong verbal communication skills, and the ability to resolve conflicts and achieve results with contractors, the property manager and other outside parties in a deadline driven environment. •Possess excellent organization and time management skills. •Knowledge of different types of skill levels and responsibilities required to perform the job. •Ability to complete physically demanding tasks and projects requiring accurate vision, hearing, and coordination responses. •Must have a valid driver’s license. Preferred Requirements •Experience with CMMS and/or BMS software. •Experience in a corporate office setting. Job Duties •Assist in the maintaining of the overall operation of company’s physical property locations in Las Vegas. •Responsible for housekeeping of the maintenance group. •Interact with visitors, vendors, deliveries and all departments. •Assist front desk administrator when absent. •Maintain and repair landscaping leaks / Rebuild solenoid boxes. •Responsible for a variety of tasks related to maintaining and improving Allegiant facilities and equipment. •Perform daily, weekly, and monthly checks per at the Facility Chief Engineer requests. •Maintain Maintenance records. •Perform minor electrical, plumbing and HVAC Repairs. •Responsible for delivering inventory to Allegiant Staff. •Participate and coordinate safety and fire drills. Deliver recommendations for improvements. •Assist in minor carpentry repairs including installations of pictures, artwork and bulletin boards. •Assist with minor furniture and equipment moves. •Execute tasks in a timely manner / •Interact with visitors, vendors, deliveries and all departments. •Communicate with Facility Chief Engineer on regular basis. •Maintain high level of confidentiality. •Other duties as assigned. Office - While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, see, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, key board, printer, and phone. May be required to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 20 lbs. May be required to work various shifts/days in a 24-hour situation. Regular attendance is a requirement of the role. Exposure to moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phones, printers, and foot traffic), temperature and light fluctuations. Ability to work in a confined area as well as the ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time. Some travel may be a requirement of the role.
