Summary The Facilities Engineer directly reports to the Facility Chief Engineer and is responsible for monitoring and performing repairs/replacements/quotes for general maintenance throughout Allegiant’s headquarters. Scheduling HVAC and electrical repairs, upgrades and preventative maintenance with property management. Advise and implement preventative maintenance measures. Ensuring all Allegiant Air employees are provided a safe, productive and comfortable workplace environment. Visa Sponsorship Available No Minimum Requirements Combination of Education and Experience will be considered. Must be authorized to work in the US as defined by the Immigration Act of 1986. Must pass a Criminal Background Check. Education: High School Diploma/GED Years of Experience: Minimum three (3) years’ experience working on commercial buildingsMinimum two (2) years’ working knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical, carpentry, and plumbingMinimum two (2) years’ working knowledge of CMMS and /or BMS software (similar software in a corporate office) required Preferred Requirements •Experience with repairing and installing equipment coupled with general maintenance issues and commercial building operations. •Working knowledge of HVAC systems, heating, electrical, carpentry and plumbing. Experience with BMS software is a plus. •Must be knowledgeable of camera software, technical competence with mechanical engineering of commercial buildings and facilities. •Must be able to perform plumbing maintenance, carpentry, and electrical and mechanical work. •Ability to read and understand mechanical prints, drawings, and electrical diagrams and work from such prints, drawings, and diagrams. •Multitasks and adapts quickly to change. •Must be able to follow written instructions and complete documentation associated with preventative and predictive maintenance. •Familiar with a variety of maintenance fields’ concepts, practices, and procedures. •Employee must be well organized with excellent time management skills. •Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions. •Must have a valid driver’s license. •Describe the type and level of skills and knowledge required to handle the job’s responsibilities. Job Duties •Previous facilities maintenance experience required (3 years minimum). •Maintain overall operation of company’s physical property locations in Las Vegas. •Oversee day to day building functions and maintenance. •Coordinate the planning, development and implementation of recovery, repair and preventive and or predictive maintenance procedures. •Implement corrective action if in non-conformance. •Initiates failure analysis on reoccurring maintenance issues Develop and maintain maintenance records and inventory of all assets in all office and warehouse locations. •Coordinate relocation/reconfiguration of workstations, equipment and facilities Maintains thorough knowledge of Allegiant equipment status and all changes in operating conditions. •Manage and organize the key system and maintain a key list and manage key possessions. •Work with in-house IT team to ensure building systems supporting Servers are operational at all times. •Participate and coordinate safety and fire drills. •Make recommendations for improvements. Responsible for coordinating maintenance for leased fleet of copiers at HQ and all airport locations. •Provide technical direction for Tenant Improvements for new leased space at Allegiant’s airport locations. •Obtain quotes for all aspects of construction required at these locations. •Perform mid-level carpentry repairs including installations of pictures, artwork and bulletin boards. •Assist with minor furniture and equipment moves. •Respond to special requests for all Directors, Vice Presidents and Executives solution. •Execute tasks in a timely manner. •Interaction with visitors, vendors, deliveries and all departments Tasks and projects may be very physically demanding requiring accurate vision, hearing, and coordination responses. •Must possess strong verbal communication skills and the ability to resolve conflicts with and get results from contractors, the property manager and other outside parties in a deadline driven environment. •Communicate with Facility Chief Engineer on regular basis. •Confidentiality is imperative. •Other duties as assigned. May be required to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 20 lbs. May be required to work various shifts/days in a 24-hour situation. Regular attendance is a requirement of the role. Exposure to moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phones, printers, and foot traffic), temperature and light fluctuations. Ability to work in a confined area as well as the ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time. Some travel may be a requirement of the role.
