Summary
Responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to providing entry, evaluation and assignment of engineering source documents from the FAA, OEM, and internal sources. Review of all engineering documents being released to the publication’s website. This position will also require the oversight, audit, and issue correction of engineering documents contained in the engineering library or published on PubWeb. Basic administrative functions will be required to assist the engineering director and managers.

Minimum two (2) years experience in a technical or an administrative role in a technical fieldMinimum six (6) months experience working in an engineering department
Preferred Requirements
Knowledge of various engineering documents preferred.
Analytical skills to effectively & efficiently solve problems
Proficiency in the use of computers and the associated programs utilized (MS Word, Excel, and Outlook)
Effective ability to communicate orally or in written form effectively with co-workers and management.
Ability to multi-task and effectively organize projects and tasks, including properly accounting for all documents.
Job Duties
Provide daily entry and assignment of engineering source documents for analysis.
Conduct initial analysis of engineering source documents and follow the process throughout document development providing support when needed.
Review all engineering documents against engineering policy and procedures prior to release.
Maintain and update engineering document library.
Audit Allegiant engineering documents on PubWeb and correct issues as necessary to comply with process/standards control.
Scan engineering documents into the company document retention system.
Perform audit of engineering documents scanned into the engineering library.
Administrative functions such as scheduling meetings, organizing the engineering staff’s weekly report, and other functions as needed.

Office - While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, see, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, key board, printer, and phone. May be required to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 20 lbs. May be required to work various shifts/days in a 24-hour situation. Regular attendance is a requirement of the role. Exposure to moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phones, printers, and foot traffic), temperature and light fluctuations. Ability to work in a confined area as well as the ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time. Some travel may be a requirement of the role.
