Summary Develop and execute strategies to optimize the management of Aircraft Material Planning and Line Maintenance Planning within Allegiant’s Maintenance and Engineering department. Separately, will act as the chief overseer of Allegiant’s Skywise platform, which includes the development and establishment of data-driven predictive models, as well as the expansion of all reporting and automation efforts in the Skywise Core platform. Will also direct the performance of special projects that provide continuous improvement to Allegiant’s Maintenance and Engineering department, all while maintaining a high level of service provided to front-line maintenance and other customers as intended. Minimum Requirements A combination of Education and Experience will be considered. Must be authorized to work in the US as defined by the Immigration Act of 1986. Must pass a Criminal Background Check. Education:  Bachelor’s Degree Certification:  No Visa Sponsorship is not available Valid/Unexpired Passport Book Valid/Unexpired Driver's License No No Years of Experience:   *Minimum five (5) years of Leadership/Management experience performing related tasks, preferably with a Transport Category air carrier or related business field. •The ability to read, write, and speak English in order to receive and understand instructions, and directives, and ensure safety, as well as the ability to interact with the customer, is a requirement of the job. Preferred Requirements •Master's Degree preferred. •Previous leadership roles in operations management and/or materials planning with experience in analytical modeling and/or programming is most desirable. Financial and/or vendor management with negotiation experience is also a plus. •Strong work ethic. •Strong intellect and aptitude desired, along with the ability to manage multiple and varied activities. •Good leadership and people management skills, effective communication skills, and an ability to prioritize and effectively problem-solve. Job Duties •Establish a strategy to achieve the function’s mission and vision and communicate them throughout the organization. •Facilitate the resolution of issues within the department and across functions by lending expertise and actively directing the process of problem-solving. •Oversee the preparation of budgets, monitor monthly activity, and report on results. •Provide leadership to Materials Planning, Line Maintenance Planning, Component Development Engineering, and Maintenance/Financial Analytics. •Materials Planning: Model future requirements for inventory by item and location to assure the appropriate quantity and dispersion of parts, materials, and other supplies to support the operation while optimizing the balance sheet and related spending. •Line Maintenance Planning: Manage, administer & coordinate the line maintenance planning activities for all fleet types and develop tools to optimize scheduling and manpower. •Predictive Maintenance: Develop Allegiant's predictive maintenance platform within Skywise Core and Skywise Health Monitoring systems. This includes, but is not limited to, predictive model building, automation of Maintenance and Operations business processes, report creation, et al. •Component Development Engineering: Create tools for the surveillance and prediction of component-related trends, develop build-specs & component repairs to improve safety, and component reliabilities with financial justification and/or reduce repair costs. •Maintenance/Financial Analytics: Interface with FP&A and Business Intelligence to ensure proper access to, and interpretation of, company operational and financial data for the purpose of data-driven decision-making. •Select managers and mentor them to improve their performance. Assist them to establish their goals and objectives. Assure the appropriate training, assistance, coordination and time are available to carry out the objectives; re-prioritize as necessary. •Interface with the Directors within Maintenance &Technical Operations, Materials, Stores, and Finance to assure the efficacy of planning decisions. •Advise upper management on key issues and keep the Vice President of Maintenance and Engineering informed on progress in each area, particularly as it affects the department’s commitments. •Ensure any direct reports understand and apply our Customer Commitment and customer service standards to their daily responsibilities as appropriate. •Model Allegiant’s customer service standards in personal actions and when providing leadership direction. •Other duties as assigned. Exposure to moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phones, printers, and foot traffic), temperature, and light fluctuations. Ability to work in a confined area as well as the ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time. Some travel may be a requirement of the role.
