This position creates templates for aircraft fleet types, aircraft tails and components using our internal Maintenance and Engineering database. This position also understands the nature of Airworthiness Directives (AD) and their complications for the purpose of repeat inspections or future inspection requirements that may change the nature of continued requirements. This position exists to maintain fleet compliance of our changing Maintenance Program requirements, AD requirements and ensuring our database meets the ever increasing complexities of new AD’s for the three aircraft fleet types and appliances associated with them.

Combination of Education and Experience will be considered. Must be authorized to work in the US as defined by the Immigration Act of 1986. Must pass a Criminal Background Check.
Education: High School Diploma/GED
Education Details: Associates Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology, Engineering, Professional Aeronautics or related field; Bachelor's Degree preferred
Years of Experience: Minimum three (3) years of computer systems experience
• Strong knowledge of MS Excel and Access
• Mainframe systems (Saber, Maxi-merlin, SCEPTRE) or ERP experience preferred
• Aircraft maintenance, maintenance support or configuration control experience preferred
• Create Fleet templates and aircraft templates using Allegiant’s Maintenance & Engineering database
• Create AD templates with thresholds, repetitive inspections or any other requirements
• Create or change Maintenance Program requirements
• Delete AD requirements as they are superseded
• Perform induction audits of newly inducted aircraft

Office - While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, see, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, key board, printer, and phone. May be required to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 20 lbs. May be required to work various shifts/days in a 24-hour situation. Regular attendance is a requirement of the role. Exposure to moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phones, printers, and foot traffic), temperature and light fluctuations. Ability to work in a confined area as well as the ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time. Some travel may be a requirement of the role.
